Bible verses about
Quiet

When the prophet Elijah was on the run from murderous Queen Jezebel, he complained to God of his treatment. In response, God unfolded a parade of mighty wonders before him: windstorm, earthquake, and fire. But God was not in any of the noise. Instead, He spoke to Elijah, renewing his courage with a “still small voice” (1 Kings 19:1-12).

Today, God still speaks to us in the quiet. “Be still and know that I am God,” He declares (Psalm 46:10). When we deliberately take a break from the world and leave its cares behind, then God can refill and rejuvenate us.
