Bible verses about
Loneliness

We are never alone. God, our loving Creator, has repeatedly promised that He will never leave us or forsake us (Joshua 1:5, Hebrews 13:5). Loved ones may end up leaving — even if they would rather stay with us.

Jesus knows we crave companionship. In His love, He has promised to be with us always: even to the ends of the earth (Matthew 28:20 KJV).

God promises that He is with me

Isaiah 41:10

God will never let me down

Joshua 1:5

No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not fail you nor forsake you.

No matter where I am, God is with me

Genesis 28:15

God knows everything about me

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with me.

No matter what happens to me, I am loved

Romans 8:35, 37

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

In my darkest hours, God is with me

Then you will call, and the LORD will answer. You will cry for help, and he will say, ‘Here I am.’ If you take away from among you the yoke, finger pointing, and speaking wickedly; and if you pour out your soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light will rise in darkness, and your obscurity will be as the noonday; and the LORD will guide you continually, satisfy your soul in dry places, and make your bones strong. You will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters don’t fail.
