Bible verses about
Music

God loves music! Musical praise surrounds him (Revelation 5:9, 12). He sings with joy over His beloved children (Zephaniah 3:17). He hears the music in our souls (Psalm 108:1).

David, an accomplished instrumentalist and a man after God’s own heart, wrote over 70 Psalms — songs that have praised God for millennia.

So sing! Dance! Lift your voice in praise and “make a joyful noise unto the Lord!” (Psalm 98).

Music can open the heart to hear God more clearly

2 Kings 3:15

But now bring me a minstrel. And it came to pass, when the minstrel played, that the hand of the Lord came upon him.

My love of the Lord is reflected in my music
